For Elizabeth's 9-month birthday, she has decided to give up sleep! This photo was taken at 4:55 am. Doesn't she look happy? I thought maybe if she played a little bit she'd get sleepy. It hasn't happened yet...So what's a mom to do? Might as well do a little blogging... and beg for your votes at this week's contest at Mom 4 Life!!!! So, what do you do when they don't want to sleep? Our Ladybug did the same thing last night - was up from 3:30a-5:30a, slept for 30 minutes and wanted to get up again. She loves to talk and coo at that hour, but "the books" say to limit interaction so as to teach them that nighttime is for sleeping. But I hate not interacting with her.
I voted for Elizabeth and so did a bunch of my friends. I also sent the link to mom, aunt laurie, carrie, sherrie, mitchell and mitchell's mom. Let us know if she wins she has a bunch of people in Houston cheering for her! :)
