On Monday, I could hold out no longer and bought a big pumpkin to make a jack-o-lantern with David. Later in the day, Grandpa went shopping too & also bought a pumpkin! Great minds... We'll be carving our pumpkin this weekend.

Please pray for David as he tries to get over this nasty congestion he's had to miss Cubbies and a trip to the zoo because of it.

Thursday's Happy Birthday goes out to Aunt Erin! This concludes our week of birthdays!

Tonight, Grandpa decided he'd like to be together at El Taco Jalisco with us & Uncle Bubba's family. We practically filled up the place! The building used to be an old Dairy Queen, so that gives you an idea of how small it was. It was very good, though.

Photo Tag: What Are You Carrying?

This week's Photo Tag wants to see what kind of bags we carry! Mine is the ladybug bag I made to match my baby bedding, boppy cover, wall hanging, and Mei Tai. I made sure that it was big enough to carry my wallet, Elizabeth's diapers & wipes, an extra onesie & burp rag, and an extra diaper for David. My sister helped me put the zipper on the top so that when Dad tosses it into the back seat of the car, everything doesn't fall out... unless I forget to zip it! It's hard to see in the photo, but I also put a cell phone pocket in the front, too. And it's got some pockets inside for the little stuff.

Photo Tag: Show Us Your Shoes

Who knew taking a picture of your feet could be so fun!!?

My all time favorite for any season has to be a cheap pair of Old Navy flip flops. I got these last summer during buy one, get one 1/2 price!

But when I know I'm going to need a little more support, I wear my Sketchers. These are the comfiest tennie shoes I've ever had! I got these when I was pregnant with Elizabeth, about to attend a Women of Faith Conference (lots of walking), and fixin' to start teaching at Mother's Day Out (7 hours on my feet). They're wonderful. The right one is loose now, though, because that foot got so swollen during pregnancy.

Every time I leaned over to take a picture of my feet, a cat seemed to think I was about to feed them or something!
