"What???"
Yes, that yellow-orange mess is squash! Elizabeth is now starting solid (so to speak) foods. This is her second attempt at squash and she is improving. I actually tasted it myself & it's not too bad!

By the end of her meal, she looked much happier about it! I remember David making a face like that. To get started, we're using bought baby food. Once she gets the hang of it and can handle soft little chunks, I'll start making her food like I did for David (my food processor is not powerful enough to make it smooth now). My
baby food cookbook has been selling really well on eBay.
We went to her 6-month check-up yesterday at the new doctor. Ebees weighed in at 14.4 pounds and measured 25 inches long. That puts her in the 25th percentile for her age - a little bit on the small side. But I would say that's nothing to worry about right now. She favors her right side, so the doctor recommended putting more interesting stuff on her left side so she'll look that way more. Is it not normal to favor one side? Anyway, she's doing well otherwise and is always happy and mostly healthy except for one cold. I can't complain. Breast feeding seems to be doing it's job! David never had to go to the doctor for illness either.
