Tiny Talk Tuesday.... and a few Legos

My tiny talkers are growing! David turned 5 last week! It's hard to believe. After he ate his birthday cake last Wednesday (at home with just us), he suddenly said, "HEY! We forgot my present!" So then I pulled it out and he built it.

I've been racking my brain to remember something cute Elizabeth said this week. She says cute stuff every day, but I didn't write anything down & now I can't remember. So I'll just show you how cute she is anyway.

All David asked for his birthday was Legos. And boy, did he get them! So far, he's made the Mine Mech (above), and then he used the Legos from that set and added the orange pieces to his Bionicle.

After his birthday party, he made the Front End Loader with Darth Vader on top,

Darth Vader's Tie Fighter,

the Claw Digger,

and some other little creations that I haven't gotten photographed yet! I think when he grows up, David just might be an engineer for Lego!

Tiny Talk Tuesday

Aunt Sissy helped me with some pizza dough issues the other night and said to make sure to take a picture of the pizza. So here ya go... in David's words, "Double Alfredo Pizza!"

Looks rustic, huh? The dough was still pretty thick & I had a really hard time flattening it. As you can see, this was pretty crusty pizza. I heard no complaints, though. The rest of the amazing alfredo sauce will become Chicken Alfredo later this week... then we'll see if it really does taste like the Olive Garden!

Narration by David with the black board being outer space: The Transformer will fly around & around the Earth before he lands at the Kennedy Space Station!

Man, he's come a long way.

Next, I finally got Elizabeth with her new baby, stroller & one of her new diapers!

And to see just how much fun it is in real life, I bring you a video: : )

OK, so that video and the conversation with Sissy about the pizza reminded me that I hadn't posted the dancing video from Christmas!

Many of you have seen Andy & Lauren cutting a rug at the family reunion, but here's Crazy Aunt Sissy & Crazy Aunt Wee (neither of which should be confused with Crazy Aunt Mabel) showing their stuff at the house:

Elizabeth loves that video and starts giggling & chanting, "Dancing!"

Don't forget to visit the other tiny talkers over at Not Before 7!

And one more thing, but certainly not the least today - Please keep my friend, Rachel Anne, in your prayers as she's dealing with a miscarriage this week. I am heartbroken for her; I can only imagine what she's going through.

Tiny Talk Tuesday in the Clouds

As we were leaving the house yesterday evening, David said, "What's that cloud doing?" I looked into the sky & didn't see anything spectacular happening, so I guessed rather dully, "Hanging around in the sky?"

"Is that cloud being Saturn? It has rings around it!"

I still didn't get it, but Dad spotted the cloud & confirmed that it did look like Saturn. Yes, I was being dull, but I finally found it myself. Can you see it?

And here they are earlier that afternoon singing together in the car: (forgot I was taking video when I turned my camera sideways!)

Elizabeth sings something that sounds like Where Is Thumbkin / Are You Sleeping / Frère Jacques, cuter than you've ever heard it before! : )

See what other cute, adorable & funny things are being said this week at Not Before 7 for Tiny Talk Tuesday.
